Ecologist

Catrin has an MRes in Conservation and Resource Management along with a BSc (Hons) in Zoology, both from the University of Liverpool. Before joining Bowland Ecology in March 2020, Catrin had over three years professional experience of working as an ecological consultant where she undertook a range of ecological surveys; including amphibians, reptiles, bats, badgers, riparian mammals and Phase 1 habitat surveys. Catrin also has experience in report writing, producing maps using GIS software and taking on the role of Ecological Clerk of Works. Prior to joining the ecological consultancy sector, Catrin worked for the Lancashire Wildlife Trust where she completed a traineeship as a Recording Officer before working as an Assistant Community Project Officer. Catrin holds a Natural England scientific licence for bats.
