Gareth Mason BSc (Hons) MCIEEM
Gareth has worked closely with many of Scotland’s most elusive species including Scottish Wildcat, Eagles, Capercaillie and Beaver. He also has an extensive knowledge base of Scottish Flora and Fauna, gained during the six years he worked with Forestry and Land Scotland and prior to that with Forestry Enterprise Scotland and Edinburgh Council. His academic qualifications include an Honours Degree in Environmental Science and a HND in Forestry. Gareth has a range of specialisms including Surveying, ECoW and Mitigation and is an experienced tree-climber. Gareth’s trusty dog Bracken often accompanies him to site and has helped locate otter holts, wildcat & pine marten dens and other European Protected Species. Gareth is currently working on large projects for BAE and Sottish Power.
