
Alice Helyar
Alice has a first class degree in Environmental Biology from the University of St Andrews, an MSc in Environmental Assessment and Management from Oxford Brookes University and a PhD studying the effects of control on the ecology of American mink at the University of York. Alice has over 18 years’ experience in the consultancy and public sectors. She has a wide range of experience managing large scale development and conservation projects within the minerals, renewables, utilities and public sectors, as well as leading habitat restoration projects. Alice takes a company lead in EcIAs and HRAs. She also is an experienced mammal, upland and aquatic ecologist, leads inhouse amphibian survey training and is a technical aquatic lead within the company.
