Helena graduated from the University of Durham in 2020 with a first class degree in Physical Geography. Helena has previously interned at JBA Flood Risk Management, working within the catastrophe modelling team. In her role at Bowland Ecology, she assists with a wide range of ecological surveys including Phase One and bats, and also carries out Ecological Desk Studies, is a competent GIS user (QGIS), undertakes data analysis, including bat sound analysis, and assists with report preparation. In October 2020, Helena ran a guest lecture and seminar for 3rd year students at the University of Central Lancashire on ecological survey techniques and EIA.
