Bowland Ecology has been involved in work at Hyndburn Wind Farm for a significant period of time to provide independent ECOW input during construction and as commissioned by Energiekontor to undertake ecological surveys (vegetation, nesting birds and reptiles) for discharge of planning conditions and 10 year post construction ecological restoration monitoring surveys. The scope of work extended to the preparation of a Habitat Enhancement and Monitoring Scheme (HEMS) which encompassed both ecological and hydrological assessment, baseline conditions and monitoring.
